Lips Skin Care

My Holy Grail Lip Product

There’s a reason I just rebought a $25 lip balm for the third time. It’s because through all my Lip Smackers, Chapstick, Nivea, Softlips, Burt’s Bees and more, it’s the only thing that I finish off every time.

Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment is my holy grail lip product. For reasons unknown to me (but actually maybe because of my drying face products), and despite the fact that I live in a humid place, my lips are always dry. And I mean dry like in a gross peeling way. Once I started using Fresh Lip Treatment that all went away.

When you swipe it on, it practically melts onto your lips. It’s not as waxy as most lip balms, but it avoids being too oily feeling. Because of how hydrating it is, it has a subtle plumping effect, which of course I love. You can immediately put on creamy lipstick afterwards, but you may want to wait for it to soak in a bit before putting on anything matte.

Because of the price and the fact that it’s unnecessary to use all the time, I save this balm for when I’m getting ready in the morning and I sometimes apply at night during my skincare routine. If you live in a drier, colder place you might want to add it in midday too but stick with whatever works for you! For me, a tube lasts about 5 months.

I’m currently scraping out the very last of my balm before I open my next one. I’m not the only one who thinks it’s amazing, check out the reviews!

PS I’m totally committed to this one at the moment, but if can find one just as good at a cheaper price point, let me know 🙂
